SialoLither is the minimal invasive salivary gland stone fragmenting device as working with the electro- pneumatic principle.

The system works with the principle that ballistic energy created by the bullet that hits a stainless steel probe by moving with compressed air breaks down the stone coming to the tip of the probe. The stainless steel probe transmits the ballistic energy generated by pneumatic pressure pulses to the salivary gland stone to break the stone. These probes are manufactured from the special stainless steel which is biocompatible and convenient for the medical usage.
